Slayer Non-Toxic Surface Sanitiser:
- Has very low toxicity (similar to vitamin C and coffee).
- Is environmentally friendly and breaks down in the environment.
- Only becomes active in its dry state—this is totally different from another disinfectant/sanitisers that only work when they “wet” the surface.
- Kills microorganisms through a mechanical process that’s non-poisonous and alcohol-free
- Stays active and bonded on surfaces for up to 30 days, and doesn’t wash off with normal cleaning.
How does it work?
Unlike traditional sanitisers that kill bacteria by chemicals, poison or high alcohol content, ZOONO® resembles a layer of microscopic pins that attract, pierce and kill pathogens—the same principle as a pin popping a balloon. And, in the same manner that a burst balloon can’t be reformed, neither can the pathogens.
How do I apply it at home?
Follow instructions on the label. Apply Slayer via a trigger spray direct to the surface, then allow approximately 10 minutes for drying.
The ZOONO® technology in Slayer has approvals for many hard and soft surfaces, including a range of fabrics. Being non-toxic it’s uniquely safe to apply around open food without any harm on humans if consumed.
Reapplication to high traffic touchpoints with a trigger bottle and clean microfibre should be part of general cleaning procedures. High traffic touchpoints include elevator buttons, entrance door handles etc, keyboards, and telephones.
ZOONO® is effective for up to 30-days and is only worn off by high friction, most commonly touching. It’s recommended that you reapply to high touchpoints every 7-14 days as a precaution.
For standard traffic touchpoints, application is recommended every 21-25 days to ensure the product is reapplied before it becomes less effective. This ensures the Slayer layer continues to develop and build resistance against surface pathogens.
Cleaning process in conjunction with Slayer:
While the ZOONO® technology in Slayer is highly effective at protecting against surface pathogens, it’s not a complete replacement for cleaning. It’s recommended standard ‘pre-COVID’ cleaning remains, however, there’s no need to use harsh chemicals. In most places, a standard disinfectant or soapy water will be more than sufficient to wash off grime and regular surface dirt before applying Slayer.
