PROCESSING: Washed with Anaerobic ferment 48 hours cherries (36 hours tank)

On Finca Bella Vista, in the southwestern part of the department, Luis Eduardo Tulcan grows the Pink Bourbon coffee variety. Pink Bourbon arrived in Colombia between 1860 & 1870 and is characterized by its notable height and by its need for continuous pruning to control its growth.

The municipality of Acevedo, where Bellavista is located, is one of the largest coffee producers in the department, with approximately 9,000 hectares cultivated in the mountains of the eastern Andes.

Luis Eduardo Tulcan grows his coffee at 1,600 m.a.s.l, in an area with an

average temperature of 14° to 18° C. His trees absorb water from the

Sauza river which travels south to north through the region. This Pink Bourbon micro lot is creamy, with notes of panela, pear and cape gooseberry.
