From the Tolima region of Colombia, this coffee comes from several smallholder producing partners from the Asociación De Caficultores Indígenas De San Pedro Resguardo Páez De Gaitania Tolima (ASCI’SP). This association made up of 91 farmers and their families from the Nasa We’sh tribe. These are the direct descendants of the Paez ancestors who decades ago immigrated from el Cauca and eventually re-settled on the banks of the River Atá.

The Nasa live on and cultivate almost five hectares of certified-organic land. A large part of their land lies within the Nevado de Huila National park, and the Nasa have a saying “respect among people and nature is law within the reservation”. They speak the Nasa language and as stewards of Nasa land, they grow coffee in an artisanal, fully organic manner, preserving their community’s commitment to sustainable and responsible agriculture. As a washed process, this coffee has vibrant flavours of red apple and lemon-lime candy.
