MAKER & MONGER CHEESE (Melbourne only)
Born one night in March 2015, at the Builder’s Arm Hotel on Gertrude St, Collingwood, Maker & Monger has grown into an all-encompassing cheese shop embracing both the cheesemaker and cheesemonger. With a purpose-built maturation room, a 7-metre long climate-controlled cheese storage, Maker & Monger produce a selection of seasonal cheeses that are as delicious as they are complex.
Giorgio Cravero Parmigiano Reggioano (200g):
Matured by Giorgio Cravero in Bra from milk in Modena, Italy, this is an unpasteurised cows milk, animal rennet, made in December 2017. Crumbly texture and unbeatable aroma, this is an A+ Parmesan cheese.
Marcel Petite Comté Réservation (200g):
From Jura, France and matured by Marcel Petite Fromagerie, this is an unpasteurised cows milk, animal rennet, hard-cooked and pressed. Sweet and fruity with a nutty cashew butter finish. Delicious.
