Blini up your caviar with this delicious, traditional garnish. We provide the goods—you serve up the caviar. We've packed in some buckwheat blini's and traditional toppings for the perfect dinner party starter.  

This is Victoria only sorry! We've got a recipe and ingredients below though—anyone out of State can still purchase our caviar and make this at home! 

What's in the pack?

  • Buckwheat blini
  • Chopped boiled Egg
  • Chives
  • Fine Diced Shallots
  • Cream Fraiche

Don't live in Victoria? Here are the ingredients and recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Caviar of your choice
  • Eggs
  • Chives
  • Shallots
  • Cream Fraiche

For the Blini:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon melted unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Recipe:

Make the Blini first:

Step 1
Combine flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.

Step 2
Whisk 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk, egg, and 1 tablespoon melted butter together in a separate bowl. Mix into the flour mixture until batter is fully combined.

Step 3
Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Drop batter, 1 tablespoon at a time, onto the heated skillet. Cook until bubbles form, 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Flip and continue cooking until brown, about 1 minute more. Lay on plate lined with a paper towel to help soak up excess butter. Repeat with the remaining batter.

The rest:

Bring a pot of water to a simmer and boil eggs for 7 minutes, once water starts simmering. Cool, peel, then chop. Finely dice shallots, and slice chives. Mix all ingredients except caviar in with the cream fraice, then slather on top of the blinis along with the caviar, place on your most silver of trays, and make a star entrance into the dining room.
