From the Laayyoo Tiraga village in Uraga County, Eastern Guji, this Ethiopian Natural coffee comes from an area with very young coffee trees. Combined with the higher altitude, ample water, and rich soil, farmers from here produce excellent quality coffee, using sustainable and organic farming practices that protect the environment. The farmers mostly use a  local coffee variety named Bedesa, a coffee variety known for its disease resistance, drought tolerance, moderate yield and superior quality—all characteristics making the Bedesa a well-adapted candidate coffee variety to a changing environment.

Well-ripened red cherries are dried for 18-21 days on raised African beds, pulled from the bed once they reach a moisture level between 9.5-10.5%, with coffee from this region known for its sweet, floral and fruity flavour with a hint of spice.
