This Natural coffee is part of yet another cracking lot from the Vides family at Finca El Sarral (a ST. ALi partner since 2017) and is everything you’d expect from a carefully-produced microlot from the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala.
After selective handpicking, cherry from Finca El Sarral is delivered to the wet mill at its neighboring Vides58 farm, Finca La Bolsa. The cherry is then dried using a mixture of sun-drying on a patio, and a mechanical Guardiola dryer.
Tasting of boysenberry jam and chocolate liquor, this coffee continues to build on Guatemala’s reputation as a revered producer of some of the most flavorful and nuanced cups worldwide.
