Ruinart Brut Champagne
A full bodied Champagne from the appellation's oldest house, with a history dating back to 1729 that began with the efforts of a monk, Dom Ruinart, a close friend to Dom Pérignon.
This wine presents with a white creamy mousse showing good hold. The bead is exceptionally fine and very persistent through the bright straw base colour.
Nosing offers a superb Champagne sniff - aromas of yeast lees, baked bread, brioche and toast showing excellent intensity. Creamy textured, the palate is mouth filling and rich showing some oxidised characters along with strong yeast autolysis flavours followed by toasty baked bread and some delicate hazelnut notes on the finish. Dry, with clean crisp acidity and long aftertaste of toast, yeast lees and hazelnut.
