In 1966 the right to remain silent was enshrined in US law with Miranda Rights upheld by the US Supreme Court, the mini skirt officially became 'mini' with the hem making its way to the upper thigh, Adam West debuted in the television series 'Batman' with Captain James T Kirk boldly debuting on 'Star Trek', and the Kangunu Coffee Factory was established, located in the main coffee growing zone of Kenya, near the slopes of Mt. Kenya. The Kangunu Coffee Factory is incredibly quality-focused when it comes to the cherries they process, ferment, and ship. The cherries-only the ripest and reddest handpicked by the farmers -are stringently hand sorted prior to pulping, with 'cherry clerks' specifically tasked with overseeing sorting and keeping records for payments. Pulping is done with three sets of discs to protect the green coffee bean, before being fermented overnight. While drying the parchment is repeatedly moved and sorted to remove any damaged or discoloured beans and is covered during the hottest part of the day to maintain even temperatures. The end result is delicious coffees just like this one. Produced by the Kagaari South Farmers Cooperative Society, this coffee is bursting with pineapple and classic cider flavours, with balanced acidity, fruit-forward flavours, and a clean finish.
