ST. ALi X Archie Rose
We’ve joined forces with Sydney's acclaimed distillers, Archie Rose to bring you Blasphemy: a Coffee Whisky spirit that blends ST. ALi Orthodox & Wide Awake Coffee with Archie Rose's award-winning Single Malt Whisky.
Purists may rally against the notion of subverting these two liquid obsessions and label Blasphemy an act of anarchy, but, on tasting the spirit and understanding the production processes behind the pairing, it soon makes perfect sense.
Blasphemy showcases both the unique Archie Rose six malt mash bill and the roasted notes from ST. ALi’s blends. Orthodox coffee meets the nuance of Wide Awake’s cold drip method with this double coffee mashup macerated and used to convert cask strength whisky to bottling strength.
The coffee notes have amplified the Single Malt Whisky’s chocolate and specialty roasted malts, and the result is an even richer and more expressive flavour profile than the sum of its parts.
Blasphemy opens with notes of stewed apples, plum jam and fresh berries, then follows through into creme caramel, roasted hazelnuts, amaretto and dark chocolate.
Enjoy it neat or in a Boulevardier.

I had reservations but the coffee isn’t overwhelming, in fact it’s subtle enough that in a blind test you might just think it’s great whiskey with an ever so slight extra something about it.
Very smooth!!!
This whisky is amazing, if you like coffee or whisky or both it’s definitely a worthwhile buy. Lovely to sip on neat, on the rocks or in an espresso martini. Well rounded and with a great nose and smooth finish. Think it could also go well in an old fashioned or hot toddy!
Amazing 🤩 Whisky 🥃 super nice wasn’t what I was expecting, it was actually better. Peaty, sweet, bit of gruff to it & a hint of coffee ☕️. Very nicely balanced, absolutely love ❤️ it. I am going to need another bottle or two St. ALi Team.
I bought Blasphemy because I was intrigued and I'll be damned if it might have become my drink of choice, everything from the look of the bottle to the taste of the whiskey was fantastic.
If this is a limited edition wiskey that goes away in a few months I'm going to be extremely sad.
