ST. ALi BREW GUIDES

You’ve just entered a new world.

A world where your home coffee brewing knows no bounds.

There are endless possibilities, but we’ll go through just a few.

ESPRESSO BREW GUIDE

WARM UP:
Preheat your espresso machine and portafilter to ensure consistent temperature.

GET GRINDING:
Use a fine grind size, around the texture of table salt. Aim for 18-20 grams of coffee.

DOSE & DISTRIBUTE:
Place the coffee in the portafilter and evenly distribute it to avoid channeling.

TAMP FIRMLY:
Apply even pressure with a tamper to create a flat, compressed puck.

BREW TIME:
Lock the portafilter into the machine, start the extraction, and aim for a 25 30 second shot time for about 36-40 grams of espresso.

Close your eyes. Take a sip. Repeat.

STOVETOP BREW GUIDE

WARM UP:

Fill the bottom chamber of the Stovetop Brewer with boiling water and bring it up to the valve. The boiling water will help speed up the brewing process and improve the final brew.

GET GRINDING:

Use a medium-fine grind, similar to table salt. Fill the filter basket with about 20 grams of coffee.

ASSEMBLE THE STOVETOP:

Place the filter basket in the bottom chamber and screw the top on tightly.

BREW TIME:

Place the Stovetop Brewer on the stove over medium heat. Wait for the water to boil and coffee to fill the top chamber.

Pour into your favourite mug (hopefully this one) and enjoy.
