Finca Las Flores is a family-run farm with a legacy of passion and innovation in coffee. Founded in 1990 by Edilberto Vergara and Nubia Ayure, the farm originally had just two out of 16 hectares growing coffee. Things changed in 1998, when the family fully dedicated all of their land to coffee cultivation, setting the stage for something extraordinary.

The turning point came in 2006 when Nubia’s entry into the Cup of Excellence placed 16th, proving the potential of their coffee. Her passing left the farm in the hands of her five children, who have since elevated Las Flores to new heights in the specialty coffee world.

Determined to improve quality, Jhoan pursued advanced agricultural training, while his brothers, Carlos and Diego, mastered fermentation, processing, and drying techniques. Their dedication led them to explore new coffee varieties perfectly suited to their farm’s climate and altitude. Today, Las Flores grows an impressive selection, including Java, Pink Bourbon, Maracaturra, Geisha, Wush Wush, Sidra, and Chiroso—each carefully cultivated and processed for exceptional flavor.

The results speak for themselves. Since 2023, Las Flores beans have fueled multiple championship-winning routines, including Brewers Cup, Barista Championship, Coffee in Good Spirits, and Ibrik competitions. This small but mighty farm has become a global name in specialty coffee, producing award-winning lots that showcase Colombia’s finest.
