HOW TO BREW
DRIP FILTER

EQUIPMENT:

Drip Filter machine

Grinder
or
Ground coffee

TIP: If your filter coffee tastes too weak or sour, try using a slightly finer grind. If it tastes bitter or takes too long to brew, go a little coarser. Small grind adjustments make a big difference in flavour and brew time.

Drip filter coffee is a simple and reliable way to brew delicious coffee at home. Using gravity and steady water flow, it produces a clean, balanced cup with clarity and subtle flavours—perfect for black coffee drinkers or anyone who prefers a lighter brew than espresso.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Get Grinding
Use a medium grind size—think table salt. Start with 60g of coffee for 1 litre of water.

2. Measure Up
Use filtered water if you can. Fill your machine’s reservoir to the 1L mark.

3. Prep the Filter
Place a paper filter in the basket and give it a quick rinse with hot water. Add your coffee and gently shake to level.

4. Start Brewing
Slide everything into place and turn the machine on. If you can, give the wet coffee grounds a quick stir after the first 30 seconds to make sure it’s all evenly soaked.

5. Let it Flow
Brewing should take 5–7 minutes. If it’s too fast or too slow, adjust your grind next time.

6. Pour & Enjoy
Swirl the carafe, take a sip, and enjoy your perfectly brewed filter coffee.
