This coffee grows in an environment surrounded by exotic trees and other vegetation, providing great conditions for growing quality cherries, as well as improving the composition of the already naturally rich volcanic soil.
The Typica variety is well suited to high altitudes, it is one of the older cultivated coffee varieties and therefore doesn’t have the disease resistance of newer hybrids, making it riskier to grow. The payoff is its consistently high cup quality, as seen here. Super-refined as always from Sonora, this harvest offers tropical and white floral notes, lookout for flavours of ripe mango and honeysuckle.
